Miami Area Pre-Newbie Questions
Hello to all in the forum,
I'm a Pre-Newbie to the forum and to becoming a SA because I'm still in the research stages and waiting for my certification book from NNA. However I do have my notary commision in the state of Florida. I have been reading the forum on this site and others and just ingesting as much information as possible.
I would be doing this part time in the south florida area, Im very good with computers (you could call me a computer geek) and have (from what i've read on all the sites) all the tools to perform the SA job (printer, copier, fax, etc.). I will read and study as much as possible before I would attempt a signing on my own although it is clear that the first one will be tough.
If do have a couple of questions for the forum.
1. Do signings sometimes take place on the weekends and is being available on a Saturday or Sunday a advantage?
2. During the weekdays do more signings take place in the mornings, afternoons or evenings.
3. Are there any Miami area SAs out there that could give me a little feedback of this business in the Miami area, It seems to be a bit saturated but is there enough to go around and what chances does a newbie have in a market as fierce as this?
4. Normally when there is alot of competition prices begin to drop, is that the case here in Miami or can you stick to your guns when it comes to fees in this area?
5. Lastly with the hurricane that just came through here what is the forums opinion as to how the market here will react as it pertains to the SA business will there be a sudden boom of business?
Thanks to all, Hector
