Mode a transportatoin

Anyone else here drive a motorcycle to signings? (Thought about this question when I saw the post for gas prices). On nice days, which is typical in the Dallas, TX area, I drive an F650GS. I can securely tie down my 3-in-1 copier, fax, printer, and place the all important docs, journal, etc. in my top box. Just was wondering if I was the only one?!?! Of course, the drivers here can be crazy, I try to give myself plenty of time to get to appointments taking the back roads. I really enjoy the ride. Everyone have a great weekend!!! Wishing everyone lots of success!!!

What a delightful picture you created in my mind...you flying through the back roads on your bike with your printer on the back cranking out papers that are flying into the air behind you......have a great ride! After someone else posted about going to closings on their horse, and another walking to theirs, I'm thinking I'm doing it the most boring way possible...in a car! LOL!

I actually installed an adapter on my motorcycle that allows me to plug in things...such as my printer. LOL. I sometimes wonder if people think..."there goes that crazy woman with her office on her bike." Ha. I have a little GPS eTrex Vista that sits nice and neat on the handlebars so I can easily find my way to the appointment. I was thinking about putting my company name and number on my helmet. What do you think??? LOL!!!!

Green with envy

You go girl. Just got my motorcyle license this summer, but still looking for an affordable 1st bike. Sounds like you have it all figured out. But don't forget you'll need a sidecar to provide a place for the borrower who can't meet at their home or office. It could go like this:
-You could just pick them up
-check their ID as you're handing them their helmet and jacket
-explain the docs via the microphone connection in the headset
-signatures/notary stamp could be applied at red lights (you know just like makeup)
- then drop them off on your way to UPS/Fed Ex

Now that would be a truly mobile notary -- haha

Re: Green with envy

Hmmm. I want a sidecar for xmas. Maybe Santa will bring me one!!!! Thanks for the idea db IL. Good luck on finding the bike you want. There are so many wonderful one's out there. The F650GS is an Enduro, so I could do a little off roading for my more rural singings. LOL!!!

Now you really blew me away...the picture you originally painted in my mind was definitely a male...and now I find out you're a female???? You're my idol!

Yeah, I shock some people when I remove my helmet and my long hair flops down past my shoulders. There's a lot woman drivers these days. It's pretty cool.
