New printer suggestions

I am in need of purchasing a new printer. I have about $300-$400 alloted to spend on one. Any suggestions would be great from those who are completly satisfied with theirs. I wanted to find one that does not cost an arm and leg to replace the toner. Ive always stayed with the brother line, but with the way my current Brother has been operating, I feel I should explore others.

TIA

You should really use the Search button to find out what you need to know. There's been plenty written on this subject. I personally have a Brother HL5150DLT that has two trays and handles both legal and letter size. It was about $275 through PCnation.com. No shipping charge. I use it for edocs, however I also get my faxes through email so I can print out my faxes on it as well. Good luck!

Well, I got an HP 1320 new in box from Ebay for about $225 ish, then went and bought an additional Paper tray (pt#Q5931A) for $150 with shipping. That would put you under $400 and the 1320 comes with good reports from consumer reports. Pretty good printer and fast at printing, get the 49X toner catridge when you can as it lasts about 2.5 times longer than the 49A (I use it for a spare).
