Hi John- I'm sure there's a SA networking group in your area -- I think I've seen meetings scheduled at the chat board on gomobilenotary. If not, why not start one? I've hosted a few here in So Cal -- email me direct for ideas on what's worked for us. Our group here is very strong and we try hard to stay loyal and refer work only to each other.
I'm also sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know or have thought of, but be super confident of the work ethic and professionalism of the person who you are referring to: A bad choice would definately end a good relationship with a company who uses you! On the other hand, my business increased dramatically once I took on a few "partners" who I can count on. Nothing like turning down a job but having a great referral they can call! And good for you that you are so busy that you turn down work as well. Good luck John!
