Query About Cell Phones - Sprint
My son's flip phone died. He is on Sprint and has another year / is only 1 year through his plan. They might give him some credit on a new one, but...my question is...
If you buy a used phone on eBay, how to you get a Sprint Phone connected? Is it a big deal?
He's got one of my cell phones today...I'd be willing to let him keep it awhile if he could save a little on a used purchase.
I told him that the notaries would know if anyone would and I'd go tap into that vast body of knowledge on his behalf. Thanks, folks...

As long as it is a sprint phone he can call to have that phone activated. I bought my daughter a phnone on eBay for $10 and had no problem switching her service to a different phone.

I just got rid of Sprint. The coverage was really bad in my area. I got a new Samsung A740 just three weeks before switching to Verizon. I had planned on selling my A740 on ebay, but would be glad to send it to you for a fair fee.

I would sell it to you for $110 including shipping, if you are interested. The phone was used for just three weeks and is in its original box w/ manual & includes a car charger. The final bill was paid 10/10 and the phone is un-locked. Give me a call or send me an email if you are interested.
Oh, and BTW, it is not a big deal to get a second hand phone connected. You just need to be sure that the phone is un-locked by the carrier (no $$$ owed on contract.)

That's true. Definitely make sure no balance is owed. My husband was sold a used phone on ebay and could not activate it because the previous owner owed a balance on the account.
