signing company trouble

I have performed two signings for a company called SIGN ON THE X. I have sent them many invoices and have not recieved any payments yet...

Can anyone give advise as to what step I should take next. The signings were completed in June.

Thanks

You should have done a search on the board before accepting signings from them. I can't think of anyone who'd work with them for just this reason.

Did you send the invoice by certified mail to make sure they are getting it? You may want to try to do that..the next step is to contact the BBB in their area and see if there are any complaints against them.

I had to take one of the SS to the Tucson police and AZ State attorney's office and even to FTC cuz I've learned the company was doing nothing but embezzling money. This company maybe doing the same thing. Do some research on them and if it is true...take some legal action on them. Hopefully if there are others in the same situation as you, can team up with you with any legal action. It only confirms the company is not out to pay you but to get paid for work they did not do.

Just a thought.

If you search the information here, it is my understanding this company also goes by SingaturesPlus. I did file a BBB complaint against them and was finally paid after 90 days. I also had to let them know I was going to take them to Small Claims court if I was not paid. Keep after them, most will pay.

They called me yesterday for a rush signing. I simply said, NO!!!! I had to send them a letter from an attorney telling them I am going to take them to Court and they finally paid.

Sorry to hear that you haven't recieved pyt I am not for sure what you can do. I would like to tell you about another company that is the same way which is Great Lakes Notary please don't do any signing for that company. Nationl Signers is a scam they tell you that title companies will call you personal well they don't so don't fall into that scam from Great Lakes Notary either I heard that personally from one of there employers.

Re: Jump off a Cliff - they don't care

Wow, thanks everyone. I was affraid that they might not be on the up and up. I will not ever do a signing for them again. And I will start reading the boards more closely. I am going to report them to the BBB.

Many thanks!
