i got an agreement from a ss along with a substitute w-9? that requires my soc. sec. number, just needed some advice as to the sub w9 and putting my soc sec number on there. any advice is welcomed. thanks.

Go to the IRS website and get an EIN and use thatSmiley

You must provide the SS with your Social Security number or EIN. They should not pay you without having this on file for tax purposes.
