what would you charge

for a cancellation by the borrower on the day of the signing when you had made several attempts to contact the borrower, then finally got a hold of her only to be waiting for her to call back, and when you finally give up and call her again, she says she isn't ready to sign? There wasn't a set time so it prevented me from planning much else.

Personally, I would not charge. There was not set time and the TC/LO did not set a time, so nothing was put in stone, so to say. I only charge on cancellations if its less than two hours from sched'd meet time or I'm enroute and I get called about the cancellation.

Did you print docs, drive to location or sign anything? If not, probably not going to be able to charge a fee.
