AKA question-Sandy, Oh

If brief instructions say "sign aka Jane Doe" (that's all,not what to sign) but mortgage is only doc with borrower's name & aka on the front page, not signature line, would that be the only doc you'd have signed with the aka. If name/signature aff. doesn't have the aka on it, would you have brw print and sign the aka name as well? Of course can't reach anyone anywhere since they're enjoying their holiday week end. This is a Countrywide if that helps.

If the instuctions say sign AKA I would have the borrower sign all docs that way. A good indication is that even though its not in the signature line of the mortgage it is on the first page. You should keep a copy of the instruction page that has this direction. Also I would have the borrower print and sign the Signature/AKA aff. It will show the TC/SC that you actully read the instructions which not alot of SA do

Thanks so much, that was my opinion also but helps to have it reinforced since I've learned to always have signed as printed
