Adobe Reader printing problems?
Learned through a tech support board of a new-to-me .pdf document reader/printer that gets great reviews from users. It's called Foxit, and it's freeware.

I cannot attest to the use of it myself, as I have just downloaded it. At the forum to be found at that site, some readers say it's really fast!
Hope it is of help to some of you who have reported problems.

WOW!!!
It is fast opening -- NOTHING like Adobe! (Haven't tried printing with it yet.)

Hi Iris. I'm curious did you read the forums on Foxit. They appear to have some bugs to fix including printing mixed paper size documents. I'll be very curious to hear your reviews of this product because if it is faster than Adobe Acrobat Reader it will be great. For some reason it seems that it takes Adobe Acrobat sooooo loooong to start.

Regarding printing, Charles
Won't be able to help you very much ... because I don't have a dual tray, so always print only one size (at a time, if necessary).
Did the comments refer to the BETA version of 1.3? I have the newest release which is no longer in BETA.
So far, the only disadvantage (to me) I've discovered is that the actual .pdf size of each page in the document does NOT show until you hit "PRINT" and see the submenu that pops up. I *do* like that feature in Adobe very much. (Haven't yet found another workaround in the menu, either.)
And, yes, the files load OODLES faster in Foxit than Adobe.

I have never had a problem with printing a pdf file, but it does not mean it will not happen sometime in the future. Thanks for sharing Iris.

You are very welcome. I've been playing around with the new software a bit -- it's quite amazing and allows things that I hadn't been able to figure out with Adobe Reader if, in fact, you could even do those same things with Adobe.
I will not uninstall Adobe Reader until I'm sure this new software prints properly.
