Another first for me. PIGS!
And I'm not talking about the borrowers, even though the house was NOT clean or tidy. The borrowers had two pigs that had the run of the house, along with dogs and cats. I was told not to be worried that the one pig was grunting at me, but to worry if it grunts louder and starts charging me. Excuse me? Put the darn pigs away!
If that's not bad enough, Mr. Borrower was horribly rude and nasty. Oh, and the A/C was not on in 88 degree heat with 100% humidity. You should have seen my run the heck out of there when it was over> I ran straight to my car and rubbed down with Purell.

LOL...I have to admit my mind went somewhere else when I saw PIGS! Gross....I would have been ticked if they told me to worry about grunting/charging me. I would have said "You've got to be kidding me!"
This job is full of 'firsts'...

That same thing has happened to me 3 times this year, LOL. I still get nervous when the BRW's last name is french-sounding.

DISGUSTING. A couple weeks ago I went to the borrowers' home. When I walked in, there was trash all over the place, an incredibly tiny living room with no room to walk whatsoever...not to mention the whole place smelling like wet dogs, dust everywhere (when I say dust, I mean dust that's been there so long that it's the color of smoke), and oh, ya....there were bugs on the table we were signing on. On the couch, there was an old jacket laying there but that was covered in dust, too! And I can't forget Mr. Borrower burping at the top of his lungs as soon as I walked in.....BRING ON THE PURELL!!! When I walked out of there I was itching like crazy!!! But...they were nice people. Dirty as maggots, but nice!

Becca...sounds like the pigs were just part and parcel of the entire nasty signing - the things we do...
However, "pigs" come in all forms, don't they?
