Committment not sent-no edocs sent-closing tomorrow
Is it common for them to say that they will send you a confirmation then not call you back or send anything? Could they have found someone cheaper? The closing is tomorrow at 1 and I havent seen edocs or committment yet.

Don't know what overnight delivery hour is in your area, I always get mine before 9:30AM including Saturday. Your appointment is probably still good to go.

We have all had this happen. Usually it is that when fee was discussed, the coordinator wanted to find someone cheaper. If you havent gotten a confirmation, you haven't got an agreement/signing.

If you still have their phone number, I would call and make sure. I assumed I lost a signing to someone else so I scheduled another closing. The next morning I received documents via UPS. I have also had it the other way around--no confirmation so I turned away others and ended up with nothing. It is better safe than sorry.

Re: Committment not sent-no ... New "shopping" policy here..
I had a talk with another NSA yesterday. She and I are getting to the same point on this. We will quote our price and then if they say that they are going to get it approved, etc. I will say I'll hold. If they say let me call you back, then the price will go up. I think my upped price will be $10-$25 depending on who it is.
I don't mind the shopping if they don't mind me protecting my business, as well.
I quote my best price first, then my "shopped price" comes next.
It is not personal. It's business.
