Could someone tell me what this might be????

I just got the following e-mail:

Hi Chris,
I do not mean to be rude or anything. Please spell check your messages before sending on the notaryrotary site. I something can't make out what the messages are about because of the spelling errors.
V/ca

I have no idea what it pertains to or who this person is. While the spelling is accurate the grammer leaves a little bit to be desired.

This is exactly the kind of thing that scares me with sharing our profiles. Wackos. Why didn't he/she address their spelling phobia here instead of personally. Nuts.

Im thinking you've got a self-appointed board monitor. The pot calling the kettle black!

Generally, with an opening statement like...."I do not mean to be rude or anything" usually means they are about to be "rude or anything".

How rude.

I just can't believe people have the time to even bother writing an email to address such "issues."

Teasa's Right.

I share Teasa's opinion about sharing profiles. What's next? A few nut cases calling us on the phone??

Re: Teasa's Right. Yes! No! Maybe!!

Actually I have no problem with having my profile up. After all we are in business and it is part of advertising. If I don't get a few flakes Ii don't knwo that my advertising is working. I also get a lot of work from my profiles and I don't hide behind obscure screen names. Except for the Anonymous ones we can usually determine who the poster is on this board. When one is in business it is expected that one is publicly accessible or one should not be in business. So bring on the flakes and the good business. It is all part and parcel of the same thing. I jsut had to laugh when I got the e-mail, I thought some others here might like to share the laugh with me.

Charles thanks for the laugh.

You have a great sense of humor and a neat way of spinning things. I now look forward to my advertising bringing my first nut case phone call.

I did get a phone call...

from someone who read my post and decided they needed to call me and address it. It was 9pm my time, 10pm theirs. Needless to say, I was a little freaked out and after that, never linked my profile.

Re: I did get a phone call...

Charles, bless your sense of humor, but whomever felt they had to contact you personally still didn't let you know who they are. Bizzare.

I've seen a Veronica posting and the name is sticking in my head. Don't remember if she is from California or not.

As for linking our profiles, I know many SSs and TCs do read the boards and even post. I feel that it is actually pretty good, and nonexpensive publicity. Yes, I've gotten a few odd-ball phone calls late at night, and some "I wanna know how to become a signing agent/notary" e-mails, and not to long ago, a few personal attack e-mails from someone that recently wasted a lot of our time for a day or two and I finally chose to ignore her on the boards -- I simply blocked her e-mails, so I don't know if it was a one-time thing -- if not, and you are still sending them, they are being wiped out before I even see them, so you are wasting your time.
