Fees,, is this ca. standard?

I was called on Mon, to do a loan signing about 12 miles away. I printed out the docs, plus a copy set. (35.00)
I spent an hour w/ client, docs. were not good, had tpo be redrawn. Went back on Thursday added a 10.00 fee for reprinting docs.

125.00 is my fee
so I billed the escrow co. 170.00. I want to stay fair, yet competitive.

There are no standard fees, nor are there standard situations.

Some people wouldn't dream of charging anything less than full fee for the second trip. Others would see this as an opportunity to impress the title company with their flexibility in the hopes of scoring future business. Personally, I'm always willing to eat a few bucks if I think it's going to pay off with repeat business from a good (and I emphasize GOOD) company.

If you're happy with what you got, it's a fair fee.
