I have no idea what was in the air this week but every closing we had this week had something strange involved in it. Got to one closing and had to listen to the non-borrowing spouse (husband) explain why he has no job and his wife is not the head of the household. she has to do the loan. Had 2 signings where when either my wife or myself got there we stepped into a divorce case. The second one involved the ex-husband cussing everyone out and leaving. I then found out he was a preacher. OMGsh. To beat all I swear I just completed one with the entire family from the movie "Deliverance" without the banjo's. Next week has to be better.

I received no calls during the last week of August, now I've had 9 calls in the first 9 days of September. I thought most of our business came during the last week of the month?

I did receive about 7 calls and did 3 end of the month closings, but I have received about 6 phone calls this week too, does seem odd and off.
