Mortgage dated 10/03/05. Please help!

I have signing today and all mortgage documents are dated with 10/03/05. Title company specifically asked me to have this date on all documents. Does it mean that my asknowledgments need to be dated also 10/03/05? Can I do this?

No, your notary certificates will have today's dates on them. They have to be the date the signer appeared before you.
