Newbie and first signing!

Hi all, I've been called to "provide a notarized signature" for two loans that a carpet & tile company is preparing to get funding. I'm doing notarizing as a service of my bookkeeping business and I'm new at this. When I received my starter kit, it just had the stamp, no other documents such as acknowledgement and jurats, that I've read about. Just would like some advice as to whether or not I have the correct materials. Also, since I'm working full time while doing this I wasn't able to get off work on such short notice, so I've asked if she could come to my location. Just wondering about the fees to charge? I'm busily reading the posts on this board, but wanted to go ahead and post this. Hopefully will have some responses by morning! Thanks for reading.

Jen, you need to indicate what state you're in. Refer also to your state notary statutes regarding what allowable fees are for various notarial acts.

Sorry, I should have known to do that from other postings. I'm in the great state of Texas.
