LOOK FOR THIS GUY: BART WHITAKER

If ever there was a good way to look for an alleged criminal, it's the notaries at large throughout the USA. Keep your eyes open for this guy. We are the next best thing to America's Most Wanted.

In the past, I have posted that I knew of a Sugar Land, Texas family who had a tragedy happen in December 2003.

On December 10, 2003 the Whitaker family went out to dinner to celebrate the oldest boy's (Bart) graduation from college. He received a Rolex as his graduation gift.

They returned home and when they entered their home, a masked gunman in black shot the mom and younger brother killing them instantly. The father was critically injured and the older boy wrestled briefly with the gunman and was shot in the shoulder. Dad and Bart survived the ordeal.

Bart whitaker, the older of the two boys is on the run. He hit the road in June 04.

Recently, Sugar Land Police have arrested two young men who have started to sing like birds and have fingered Bart as the mastermind behind the brutal murder of his little brother, his mother and the attempted murder of his father.

Bart allegedly asked his roommate to do the shooting and the other guy was the getaway man.

My son knew this freaky guy because they were dating cousins. He was never very comfortable about Bart and said before all of this that Bart was very much a cold individual unlike anyone he had ever met.

The police started to question Bart rather hot and heavily in June 2004. One day Bart took off leaving a note for his girlfriend and family that said he was afraid he would be wrongly accused of his mother's and his brother's death.

The news stories can be seen here:

Bart has worked as a bartender or a waiter in places like country clubs, or the Olive Garden type restaurants.

And, by the way, he never did finish college...wasn't even going to school to get that Rolex for graduation. Maybe it was the problem of not having a diploma after all those dollars and time in college that he did not want to talk to his parents about...so he made arrangements to have them killed.

Another little tidbit...the 9MM Glock (sp?) which was used in the shootings was one that Bart purchased and gave to his little brother as a gift. The jailed squealers report that when Bart first started talking about killing his family, it began with just killing his little brother--then 19 years old.

Or...if you believe Waco PD reports, in 2001, when he was in Baylor Univ. he was then talking about going to kill his father. One day Bart disappeared from school and he was reported missing to the PD. Then, a girl that knew him reported to the police that Bart was going to go and kill his father. Bart showed back up. At some point the police contacted his parents and told them the report they had about him wanting to kill his father...his dad said there was no way his son was capable of such crimes.

Is that chilling or what?

I cannot imagine how evil this person is to do this to his own family. And, what kind of fruitcakes were those that went along with his plans? At the links above, you can read all about 'em.

Contact your local police if you see him.

Pretty chilling, Brenda; especially the connection with your son. The worst part, in a way, is that for the father, in order to get justice, has to give up the only other remaining member of the family, his own son. What a terrible story.
