OT - LA notaries - how is Baton Rouge - Help

I may (50%) chance that I will be going to Baton Rouge for recovery operations. What is real status of city.
1. Is food scare due to # of people?
2. I know housing is scarce.
3. Is traffic as bad as I've heard?
how did city survive. From what I've read, it came thru OK.
Anything else scarce? Batteries, etc.
