Printer 4000 HP - HELP

Every time I print a page , it makes a tremendous noise - Can someone give me an idea of what could this be ?

Also I bought memory and tried to install it and at the end I decided not to do it myself . Has anybody done this at Home ?

I'm not an expert and don't have HP 4000

but ... it may just be possible you have a small piece of paper caught in the wheels somewhere from a paper jam???? Check all your paper paths.

That's the best I can do -- hope it helps!

Installing addt'l memory is not difficult, there is a quarter panel on the right side of the printer (down along the lcd display), slide it toward the back to open. Once the plastic panel is remove, you'll see a metal door lock by a screw, behind the metal door is/are memory bay where you stick your memory module in (install memory with printer off).

The noise could be a worn/dirty pick up roller unit and you can change it yourself as well. www.feedroller.com sell those pickup roller kit.
