Problem: PDF files recieved damaged
I had a problem with edocs today they kept coming with "file damaged can't repair" message . I have the Adobe 7.0. The only other time I had this happen it was a problem with the sender. Anyone have any input ? This is driving me Nuts! These people resent the email several times - same problem. Thanks for any help you can give me.
Thanks Teddog_CO

Might be a virus in the file on their end. They should scan the file with a virus program.

Re: To Barry Silver
Could also be that when they scanned or converted the files to pdf that they somehow corrupted the file. I've seen it happen a few times.

You are probably right on not being on your end. Did you download the file first then open it.. sometimes depending on file size you can get the corrupt file error if you open directly from email.

Saving to disk usually fixes it for me.

Try opening it from a different email account...
I have a msn, comcast and yahoo account. Yahoo is my main one and all docs are sent there. I've had this same problem a couple of times, but I'll forward the email to my other account and it opens fine. Try it.
