Signature One AGAIN!!!

Ok here's the deal...We posted here before all the woe's of trying to collect the amount that Lisa sent us, but the check BOUNCED all the way to the bank (and caused 4 of our checks to go NSF--there's a first time for everything). We tried to work with Lisa but she quit returning/accepting our calls. We have turned the debt over to the Attorney General of AZ...and our local collection agency. Our collection agency just called and informed us that....

Arizona is a "closed border state/No contact state"!!! You cannot use a local collection agency to collect an Arizona debt. I have contacted an Arizona collection agency. They are going to do what they can to get ANY money. Our collection agency would have awarded us the full amount of the check plus $5. This agency will only give us 50% of the debt.

We are going to turn it over to them, unless anyone else has a better idea. Please respond with any information you have, "tried & true", that could help us.

FWIW (for what it's worth), I'm waiting to hear from my attorney. Did file a report with BBB, but since there are already 72 complaints against them in August alone, I doubt it'll do any good.

I never even got a check, so I don't even have proof of that.

Anyone have a current telephone number for Lisa S.? The phone number I have is now disconnected. I took a signing form her in July while I was in the field and did not have time to check her out now I am paying the price. She owes me money also and I will probably never see it. I checked the Tuson BBB and there are now 82 complaints on her. The kicker is the TC that the lender used is one I work for regularly and I am sure she got her money. I hope she gets what coming to her.

A fraud report has been filed with the Tucson Police Dept. Case # 0509140234.. This is being forwarded to Tucson PD Fraud Div for Investigation.. I am working closely with a Detective and Detective Sargent. They will need all of you who have been ripped of by Signature One and Lisa/Dennis Screiber to supply information.
I will post a contact when they are ready for your inputs.. Please do not contact Tucson PD yet as this will confuse things. The detective and I had a long talk about this investigation and they are ready to go after the Screibers full force. We just have to do this the right way..
I will not let this drop and will keep you updated.
This could lead to not only local criminal charges but Federal Criminal charges

So Please be patient.. I am working on this with TPD

Be ready when we ask for your inputs to supply all of your bad experiences.
