Re: Sunday Notarization
You can conduct a closing on a Sunday. Sunday is just never a day counted when calculating the three day RTC. I am sure others on the board will concur that you can witness and notarize loan documents in any State, any day of the week. In NJ, we sure do close any day and time of the week. If I am wrong, some of you more seasoned signing agents - please reply.

I don't believe any state still has a Sunday "blue law" against real estate transactions. Texas had a "Sunday closing law" ("Sabbath law," "uniform day of rest law") first under Art. 286a, Texas Penal Code, and then moved it to Art. 9001, Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Ann. until it was later repealed, even though the federal and state courts have all upheld its validity. And, if I remember correctly, Pennsylvania, a long time ago, had a law forbidding the sale of some taxable items on Sunday, which included land.
