Trust Notary Services
This message is meant as a general warning concerning Trust Notary Services. I did a doc signing for them in early July, and waited until late August to be paid (after having sent them 2 invoices). They finally sent me a check for the agreed upon amount which was returned to me, by my bank, citing insufficient funds.
If anyone has ever been called by Trust Notary Services, please post a reply outlining you experience with them.

I did a signing for them on July 8 and still have not been paid. I called Tiffany King and she claimed the check was sent priority mail on Aug 29. Now I wonder if when and if I actually do get paid that it will be a good check.

I did a signing for them that was for $75 with the docs fed exed. The docs didnt make it in time and so they agreed to pay me $25 for the printing. When my check came they said they only paid me the $75. I have asked them for the remaining $25 which they said they would send but its been about a month and nothing has arrived yet. I am not so worried about the $25 but it the principal and the lack of integrity that bothers me.

I've never worked for them but I once received an email from Tiffany on a Friday morning asking if I'd like to do an assignment for them for a nearby borrower on the following Monday. This was a cold contact on her part with no other information. I was out doing signings and didn't see it until several hours later. I emailed back asking if she was a ss, that if so, I imagine she'd probably already assigned it to someone else. I mentioned that I did have some availability and to please call me if she still needed someone.
Instead of callling me, she emailed me back, including all of the borrower's contact details and asked me to advise if I would accept the assignment and what my fee would be. Her emails did not include a phone number for her company or an address. Major red flag for me! I emailed her back and said I didn't accept assignments via email for companies that I'd never worked for before, but I would be happy to talk to her about it and I left my phone number again. Naturally, she never called me, but she did eventually reply that she had found someone else. No surprise there! Very suspect way of doing business, if you ask me! I can just see me trying to collect from someone with only an email address to use for contact... I don't think so!

John,
Please contavt me immediatley and I will personally take care of this. We are terribly sorry about the NSF check. We had a banking error. A large check was put in my personal account instead of my business operating account. Tiffany has been instructed to replace your check and have it sent with an additional fee on top of it. Sorry again and we will take care of this promptly. I apologize for the inconvenience. Tiffany King can be reached at [e-mail address].
