What happened to the business?

I started doing signings several months ago and was very happy with the amount of calls I recieved. Then September came and I am dead. I haven't had a call for a closing in over 7 days and I am wondering what happened. I had previously recieved between 6 to 15 calls a week and now nothing. Is this the business cycle. or what. I need to generate business but can't figure out what happened. I am located in Florida.

School started (depending on your location). In NYS September slows down a lot; school just starting, returning from vacation, end of summer, etc. Usually picks up in Oct when the summer vacation bills come in. Also slows down just before the Christmas/New Years holiday and picks up shortly after.

Thanks, I was thinking this was the case but where I live in Florida school had started on August 8 we have been in school for six weeks already. But I guess this could be the reason.

Don't forget getting the kids off to College. I have several friends who have been extremely busy in Sept getting the kids off to college. I have been busy doing purchase closings which are not slowing down at all.
I already have September and October scheduled doing Condo closings for a condo project. The project is all sold out. They told me today that they have another project that will be completed after we do these closings, so I should be busy for awhile. I am turning down evening closings due to being busy all day.

I'm in NY and I can say it HAS been dead here. No calls for at least 2 weeks...I keep praying it'll pick up soon. In a weird way I'm glad to hear it isn't just me...misery loves company, I guess...On the up side, with gas prices being so ridiculous here, I guess I may actually be SAVING money by not doing so much driving! lol...
