Linda -- if you use the orange SEARCH button and search on the word "fees," I believe you'll find plenty of information as you wade through the messages.
Generally, I've seen people here say they charge between $50-$100 base fee, plus anywhere from $25-$50 for an e-docs package. Some charge extra for the borrower copy, some don't. If my reading skills are accurate, I'm hearing that with the rise in gas prices, most folks are trying to keep their basic fee covering about 10-15 miles each way (or less).
What you charge should be based on what you feel your services are truly worth, and should take into account your:
experience whether or not you print docs (and if so, your paper/toner charges) your time the miles (including cost of gas) whether or not you have to fax back (and if so, how many you're willing to include in the basic fee)
Once you've accounted for all that, you can determine what your own fees should be for the various services. Brenda_TX has a marvelous chart at her website of all the zip codes she covers, and how much she charges for trips to each of those. You might want to do that for your own area (I haven't yet figured out how to do that for myself, since my own zip code is so large and could vary within it.)
Just be scrupulous about your own experience level before going to the "TOP DOLLAR" -- I'm sure you'll be just fine no matter what you decide. You can always adjust up or down afterward!

Fees
I don't know why people are so afraid to talk money. If it weren't for a friend in Alb, NM I would of been lost. With these gas prices my minimum fee is 70.00, Edocs are 25-50 depending on how many pages. Anything farther than 15 miles I charge more for, that would depend on the distance and the price of gas when I passed the last gas station. Hope that helps. Like the lady said, it depends on how much you have invested too, I have over 2500.00 in equipment.
