i am suppose t do a closing today , and i called to let the person know they need a witness they rplies they arent suppose to use a notary , only a lawyer. they ss co. called me last night and scheduled a closing. so here i am getting ready for today and boom, i guess i'll just wait to hear from th ss co.

I don't understand why you are waiting for the SS to call you. I would have picked up the phone immediately and contacted who hired you and tell them what the borrower just told you so they can contact the lender and get it all straightened out. I seriously doubt if the SS will contact you when they don't know there is a problem.
