Anyone in CA work with them lately? I received a call to do an overnight signing with them and I am not sure what to quote them. He wants a coverage area/fee schedule sent so ... SS fee or title fee? What's the going rate? I did a search and I am getting fees all over the board.

I've never worked for them but Landamerica is a reputable title co. As far as fees are concerned I only have one fee structure and it s what it costs ;ouw what I want for profit versus how much time its going to take. I think its about time that notaries get what they need and not what a bunch of leeches think might be the minimum you'll work for.

Here, here, I could not agree more. I make no bones about it anymore, I flat out refuse to do anything for less than my regular fee.
