Easy! go to a search function like google and bring up title companies.

However, if you do not have at least 100 signings successfully done, you should stick to the signing companies. If you make an error with a T.C. they will never call you again, and they tend to talk between themselves. Good luck

Thank you Too Charm

Your wit and charm are evident again as usual. I would have been hard pressed to answer that question in quite the pleasnat way you did. Thank you. Title companies are serious business and I would hate to have that avenue trashed by a bunch of inexperienced and gluttonous newcomers who don't wholly understand the seriousnes of this venue but ae in it only because of the promised riches. Thanks. Nice to hear from you again, I haven't seen you about the boards for while.

Best regards,
Charles

Good grief Tammy, get a grip!!

To start with my post was direct to Chram whose keen wit and charming soutern style stand in stark contrast to your screehing protestations. Profit MARGARINES, I've hear of some running spreads on their profits but this is the first time I've seen someone trun their profits into a spread, the low priced spread at that. I am hardly threatened, especially by someone with your obvious unique charm. I don't "down" (what kind of English is that) people for being new. I am glad you are 'ALOS' experienced maybe that is one of the reasons why you had to sell your other business. "ASLO" your management experience will hod you ingood stead in whatever you do. Obviously, from your comments, you are far from the point at which you should be offering your "services" to title companies.

Re: Thank you Too Charm - Tammy

What an unwarranted attack on Charles. Not one statement in his post was directed to you.

A bit too sensitive methinks. Take a chill pill and TAKE OFF THE ALL CAPS and try some spell check, it makes you sound even more ridiculous, if that's possible.

Re: Thanks TitleGal

Unfortunately a lot of new posters forget that this is a community and like any community there are some conventions and protocols that are expected until the newcomer earns the trust and respect of the other members.

Oh my Tammy clam down, Charles has always been very helpful and most pleasant to speak to. He did not attack you ,your comments are very hard to read with the caps on ( yelling as it were).

Re: Thank you Too Charm

Tammy, unfortunately it appears you are suffering for the sins of those who came before, so please don't miss the message for the style. I think the point is that someone who is a new signing agent wanting to market to title companies (at least in the very competitive markets), is like someone buying a tennis racket, taking a few lessons, then wanting to play in the big tournaments like the US Open and Wimbledon. Admittedly, this is an exaggeration, but we see this kind of a request from new SAs all the time. I, too, think Charm_AL put it very well. Why burn your bridges? Title companies won't be as forgiving or helpful as signing services. They pay bigger fees for more expertise and professionalism, which includes knowing your job backwards and forwards. So why not become a knowledgeable, experienced pro before expecting to earn the money that goes along with that. I just believe jumping after TC business too soon is short sighted.

Also, while you may have been successful in other businesses, that doesn't mean that you won't have a learning curve in this one. Most experienced notaries who tell it like it is will recommend that a new SA get some good experience under their belt from signing services (at least 100-200 signings) before marketing to TCs. As I've said before (probably several times) - you don't know what you don't know in the beginning. (And I mean that in general - not just you specifically.) Re: Charles' comments, I really don't think it's a question of being threatened, but rather a genuine attempt to give some advice. Sometimes the advice we most need to hear is like a bitter pill we don't want to take.

I got a real kick out of this one

Sound a little bi-polar to me. I can't believe it's not butter.
