reverse mortgage

I have one tonight and there is a transfer information form. No preprinted names on it just

Name of new owner/Corporation Title
Signature of New Owner/Corp Date

I have the Buyer/transferee signing tonight. DO they sign the above mentioned part of the transfer information. Hope this makes sense.

If your signers are are just private individuals, like you and me, they DO NOT sign that part of the document. That signature area is reserved for corporate officer signatures only if the entity named as principle is a legal California Corporation.

As a PS: That could be any state where they are a legal corporation, not just California. Living in California I tend to think in California-ese only.

Thanks, this is for a California property but the borrower is here.
