A beautiful day in Lake Arrowhead, CA today.

After a long and at best odd winter with snows in March and April, it appears spring has sprung.......Awoken by the woodpecker early this a.m. just outside the open window.

We rented a cabin last week in BBL, susan it was nice it snow a little bit, then we went to Snow Summit on Sunday. It was fun.

You should have dropped by.....so you had a good time......This weekend is lovely here....yesterday I returned home from my usual day in Murrieta, it was deary there, had to make a few stops so I came up 330 through Running Springs to get home, passed through plenty of clouds, we call it clouds up here, mounatin folks get offended if you call it fog. Anywho once at about 5000 feet the sky was clear, sun out and blue sky.....too beautiful. My goodness stop by next time.....

We will be back next year. But its really nice up there. I dont think it will snow again this year hu?

Well, I have lived here now going on 6 years, we've had snow in November,-three feet, snow in July before. It does leave quickly, it can snow one day and sunshine the next and typically Lake Arrowhead doesn't get that muchsnow, we are at 5500 feet. Running Springs is 6-7000 and Big Bear is 8000. I'm a good 25-30 miles from Big Bear. My door is always open and do stop by. However don't appempt to drive down my access road in snow......you will be slipping and sliding......

me wrong we have some bad weather up here, the fog and I do call it fog can be such a killer. I remember last year one day my hubby arriving home, he was so stressed, visibility was perhaps a foot in front of him, he said he wanted to pull over but couldn't see the road to pull over......terrible terrible when the fog rolls in.....
