Ameriquest Mortgage Company DOES NOT PAY
I began doing work for Ameriquest out of New Orleans and Covington, Louisiana in 2005. They paid quite well for awhile. Now they owe me about $3,000.00 from 2005 closings. I have done everything except give my blood to them at their requests. As of this posting I still have not received any of the PAST DUE INVOICES that I sent, re-sent, emailed, faxed, overnighted, etc. to them and to their Corporate office. I did several for the Baton Rouge, Louisiana office of Ameriquest and was paid slowly but now they have not paid me for the last closing and I was told that it was sent to their Corporate office for payment also. GREAT! My last resort is to turn it over to a local Collection Agency and see if they can collect anything for me. The Collection Agency charges 40% of whatever they collect but I either get 60% or nothing at all. I have stopped doing mobile closings for GOOD! For me it has proven to be nothing but a headache from getting document packages on time, traveling to the ends of the earth here in the area I live and then either NOT getting paid, or getting paid months, and MONTHS after making numerous calls, or getting companies that are no longer in business. I began doing these closings in 2001 and it was working out until the last few years. Now its just not worth all the hassle I am having to face and comments about the fees that I charge. If these companies and others out there THINK they can find an attorney that will print out 200 PLUS pages, travel to the borrower's home at 9-10 pm for $200-$300.00 well then let them have it all. I QUIT! I will always be a member of the Notary Rotary but I am telling companies that call me that I no longer handle mobile closings. I had stopped doing work for "Third Party" Signing companies! Those were the worst in getting paid and shutting their doors down and not paying at all.

I tried to click on your name and send you an email, it is telling me it is an invalid request. If you email me, I'll be glad to send over some collection advice given to me by another NSA who claims his collection advice will get you paid.
