I'm the first one to say that the business principles of churning out notaries in California is not good. Not good at all, and since I'm *somewhat* affected, I'm interested in the problem.

However, frankly it's pissing me off this campaign on this board against Joan Bergstom and Kelly Robertson.

They both know what they are doing. They both are PAYING members of Notary Rotary. They have the right and ability to post here. And they are both Business Women.

Further they are professionals and successful at what they do - there is a need, they are filling it. It's called *Business* a very popular concept. Find a need, fill it, and you are in business. I DON'T CARE WHAT THE BUSINESS IS...the PORN business also fills a need.

It's fine and dandy to engage them (JB and Kelly) in good debate. It's fine and dandy to post your opinion.

It is NOT fine and Dandy, IMO to mount this campaign of ganging up and throwing garbage. I like Beverly alot. In fact, if I could find her site on Ebay, I'd buy her dog clothes. I don't know a whit about Signing Docs.

For the record, IMO:

There are too many notaries in California.
Joan Bergstrom is a decent teacher. Not PERFECT, but better than most.
Kelly Robertson and her partner have a business concept and are exploring it. That is just fine in these United States of America...unless there are new rules about capitalism that I am not aware of.

Address the issues, please, not the individuals.

I agree and have not one word to say about the way they run there business. I wish them well.
If you check I have NEVER said one word about that.
As far as personal attacks I don't think I've gone that far either.
I have had the Joy of being attacked but really found it more funny than hurtful. I guess I look like my dog? Oh well opinions are like ass-oles everybody has one.

I Apologize With All My Heart

Beverly, you are right. I was an Ass today by reponsding in anger, and I hope that you accept my apology. The dog remark was stupid and wrong and is really not like me or my nature (GOD, I hope not). I have taken care my computer and staff security issue so that won't be a problem anymore come Monday. I wasn't paying attention to what was going on at the office and know nothing about computer details, but know now and thanks to your investigation I understand the ISP thing and how it works and have placed safeguards on my monitors/computers. There will be no computer sharing and logging in as individuals will be a must come Monday. I hope you accept my sincere apology for my remarks - they were totaly uncalled for, unprofessional and rude. I am truly sorry Beverly. kelly

A newbee's point of view...

One thing I have noticed in my limited time here on NotRot (more than 6 months and less than a year)

The members that link to their profile tend to give helpful, professional answers and those that dont link tend to give self serving answers..... I have come to the conclusion that they have little to offer in the way of helpful advice but enjoy seeing there name in as many posts as they can hit reply....

Thanks, Kelly, Joan, TG, Paw, Glenn, Charles, Charm and the others that I am leaving out(sorry)! You have all answered questions and given advice that has helped me grow my business to the point that I have to turn away 2-3 signings a week.

How true! I am getting tired of the b.s. personal attacks. Let's all act more professionally. If a person makes a mistake, live with it, stand corrected and go on with life. The personal attacks are getting way out of hand. There really isn't a reason for it. And for certain people who continually make posts that are so misinforming, take a close look at yourselves. The people that are correcting your information are not malicious. They are professionals who do not want the wrong information given out to new people. They have been helpful to all and are supportive of the success of all.

Certain "regulars" really don't have a clue how many people read this forum. And they've made it very clear that they don't care about professionalism. Hasn't it occurred to you that the reason "new" member's don't post to your crapola is because they see you for what you really are..bored and obviously not motivated to find something better to do. Did you know that Lithium is also a beautiful lavender

colored stone when it comes ou fo the ground with innumerable sparkles that catch the sun and look like lavender flame. California has one of the best, most beautiful and improtant lithium ore depositst on the Pala Indian Reservation just East of Oceanside and sligntly south of Temecula. Lithium is also used as an improtant high pressure lubricant in aerospace lubrications. I love to see the beautiful polished bookends I made from a lepidolite (lithium) boulder I found at the Pala Queen mine. No one was making fun of mentally retarded people.
