Brother laser printer deal

Hello. I joined a couple weeks ago, and have been very busy reading up on the posts. I am finishing reading the forum posts, and after I do my profile, I plan to start posting more. The forum has been such a great tool for me. To have available so much information and encouraging people is wonderful.

For now, I want to pass on this info in case it could help someone. Tiger Direct has the Brother HL5150 DLT for $119 after rebate, while supplies last, expires 6/30/2006. The following is part of their product info: "Featuring automatic two-sided printing, two separate 250-sheet paper trays that can store letter or legal size paper, and a multi-purpose tray for envelopes or letterhead..." The Brother website says the HL5150 DLT is PCL6 compatible.

I look forward to learning more here, and appreciate those who contribute here. Thanks so much!

Just to mention that this one is refurbished and the price is after a $50 Mail-In-Rebate.

Not that Mail-In-Rebates are a pain in the neck for everybody or that refurbished is bad, it's just some points some of us consider

Sorry, all. Forgot to mention it was refurbished. It comes with a warranty and I purchased an extended warranty. I did mention the price was after rebate. There is also shipping to consider. I was ordering other items, so was paying shipping anyway.

Thanks, Mike, for pointing out the refurbished detail.

Have a good night, all!

Fight it - I did...we are able to burn our paper/cardboard where I live and my husband is not one for clutter around the house...he grabbed that box my printer came in and burned it before I could cut the UPC out of it. I explained that to them and they sent me my rebate.

So how do you like this printer so far? I am considering getting one since the price is so great. I am looking to get a double tray since right now I am printing everything out on legal size paper.
