Check this out
I found a cool place to link your website to several thousand other sites. Great for drumming up business. http://www.linksmaster.com/referral.asp?id=23733

Sorry, Michael, but I find this to be a bit much for Notary Signing Agents. We have such a niche market, and really don't "sell" much that a link exchange service that costs $20 per month would be worth it. Of course, if you continually to refer new members (can you say MLM), then you can 'earn' some.
This is not to say that this type of service isn't warranted or worthwhile for many businesses, I just don't see the ROI for THIS (Signing Agent) business. Maybe I'm wrong, and if so, please so me the light.
BTW, why did you post anonymously? Seems to me you would want folks to know who you are.

Paw, I try to do more then just signing. There are over 1000 Notaries Public in my area. Yet, I went into a Tattoo place yesterday (many require minors to have permission, with notary stamp) and NOT A SINGLE notary had been in the place EVER. Seems kinda odd that all these folks are out here and only a handful seem to be looking for work. Maybe I am wrong, but I want to work and will try ever niche I can (legal, of course) to do it. I guess we'll see. BTW: I never really caught the MLM part of this thing. I did see the links I am now added too (over 3K). Since it is only a month-to-month thing I'll give it a try and let you know. And as far as the ANON thing: it WAS 1 in the morning, and since I started that way...I'll finish that way. Have a great day. ANON

This has been around for several months now.
I had several requests from businesws associates to sign up . It hit me the same way it did PAW. When I ask them how much business they are geting from the site, I get silence. I will check with them again, though, but I am sure if any business was generated for them, they would have called me to tell me "I told you so". The number 1 source for general notarizations is the phone book. Or, another thing that works well is dropping off some business cards at these establishments.
