I'm doing a signing in San Diego on a property in Los Angeles. At the top of the Compliance Agreement it is printed-- State of California ) County of Los Angeles ) SS. ) Then at the bottom it's like usual with the above printing with the notorial wording. I know I need to change the county to San Diego at the bottom but I'm not sure about the top one. Why would it be there twice? Has anyone else run across this before? I would appreciate help with this as I need to be at my signing in 1 hr. Thanks

Your concern is the venue of where the notarization is taking place in other words what the notarial block states. Don't worry about the rest of the document, as you mentioned that is where the property is located but not where you are notarizing.

Okay, thanks. That's what I thought, but the way it was printed just like at the bottom, made me question myself.
