Documents on the Run ---- anyone getting paid???

I did a job for Doc on the Run (out of Orange, Ca) in late 2005 & have been getting a variety of stories from whomever answers the phone down there. I know they're payment policy is suspect, a fact that I found out from doing a search here on Notary Rotary, but do they actually pay anyone or just take the money & run, ala SOX?

The man who answers the phone now says that he is working on paying the past due accounts, but the guy who worked there before this one always told me he had, or was about to, or will be soon, mailing my check any time now. So, I guess I'm asking if anyone on this forum has any new news on this company, for those of us who still have past due bills with Docs on the Run? Thanks to any & all, in advance.

I did get paid, but only after I found other means to contact the owner, Suzanne Crehan directly. I found her cell phone number and her other business phone number with a quick Google search. You can find some of that mentioned here on past Docs on the run comments.

Keep at it, you will get paid, it just takes persistance.

you kidding me! They have to be among the worst! I did a signing in Nov and they claim they have not been paid so they won't pay. They're a bunch of thieves as far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't do anything for them. All they do is lie and tell stories. Do a search and you'll get an eyeful of how they operate.

They are crooks and they do not pay. Suzanne is a holy roller who claims she wants to do the right thing when she can then doesnt return numerous phone calls. When she finally called back it was to scold me and tell me not to raise my voice and be disrespectful!!! Isnt that a laugh. We are now going to Small Claims Court on 6/6 on the advice of her boss at Seven Gables. She suggested it so I could bring her a court order and she would gladly pay me. We'll see. At least I let her boss know what a crook she is.
