Help, I am a new Notary Signing Agent

Can anyone give the names of some companies that will sign up unexperienced agents. Everybody starts some where. So far I've received the thanks but no thanks. Any ideas. Help!

Sometimes honesty isn't the best policy, when I was a "newbie" I would get asked the same question and I had to make something up, that was only way I would be able to get work. I knew what loan docs were etc, since I had bought a house, refinanced etc. I have never had any errors so it worked for me.

Click on the Orange "Search" button, type in message # 33325 to start. Check out the list of companies listed here on NotRot and sign up with as many as you can. Know your State Notary laws inside and out. Research, research, research....Market, market, market!!!! There's a lot more to this profession than meets the eye.

Hi Gena, my name is Gina, too. Where in MD are you?

If you have a TPL you shouldn't have too much trouble getting started. Have you signed up with many signing services? Title companies are more apt to want the experience but that doesn't mean you should overlook them. Try signing up with as many companies as you can.

Of course, wait until you have a TPL if you haven't been licensed/bonded yet.

I have my TPL and insurances. I've been signing up. Only one company called to say that I did not have enough experience. The others haven't said anything.

Welcome to the biz.
I agree, don't lie about your experience.
The phone will start ringing. It just takes a little while to build up a client list.
