IP address belongs to Earthlink (VA), so the user could be located just about anywhere. My IP show up as being in Maryland, but I can guarantee you that I am not there.

Actually...earthlink just owns the

range of IP's which it 'leases' out (DHCP). The user however CANNOT "be located just about anywhere". In this case, the particular IP is bounced around San Jose, San Fran, and Pasadena routers.

Every once in a while, I will try using small words, or strict techno babble to appeal to the humorless and multisyllabic challenged.
