How was April for you?

April was a very good month for me. I was really surprised. Last year, April wasn't a stellar month. I am still busy today and tomorrow. I hope May will be fantastic.

April was my second best month in the past year. March was also a very busy month, but April ended up even better. I have gotten several last minute calls from out of state attorneys offices offering large payments for closings. All of them have found me from Not Rot. I am also very surprised at how busy my month has been and am hoping May is just as well!

This month was about the same as last year's numbers. I am just suprised gas prices are going up and signing fees are down. I have turned down about half of the loans because the fees were too low and my exspense on gas printing and time made it not worth it to close those. I feel like I can't complain. My exspenses are down from last year because I only accepted the better paying jobs. Anyone else see this happening?

I would like to know how you get so many closings. Are these with local companies in your area or with out of state agencies? Are you all in densely populated areas?

I'm not going to make the goal I set for myself which is the first time in a long that I haven't however it will turn out better then I thought it would last week. But considering I had surgery April 6th and I spent a couple days recouping from that I guess it's okay. Hopefully next month will be better, and I'm sure I'll feel better to be able to handle all the requests.

Good month

I had a great March and April. Already have bookings for May.

To Southern Girl....it's taken me two and a half years to get to this point. I have three regular customers that use me all the time, and that's filled in with a spattering of companies that I work for once in awhile just because they don't have much business in Michigan.

Only one of the three regulars is a local title company. The other two are in other states but seem to do a lot of business in my state.

You just have to keep marketing and try to get some regulars who will use you frequently.

January...YUCK! February...VERY NICE! March....SO-SO! April...SUPER!!! Each month better than last years figures. Picking up a few more regulars so that's helping as well as a few new ones.

Although I don't do as many in a month as a lot of the people here, things are picking up every year. My name is out there and the companies I work with know what they are going to get from me which = repeat business. I love the companies I work with and the independence that I have.

turned down more than I should

April was the PITS! Worst month this year. I turned down about 8 assignments so that didn't help. I may have to start taking these low fees. NREIS really messed me up. I usually do around 10 amonth for them only did 2. UGH.

I only did 21 closings for the month. I usually do 30+

times are changing.
