I finally made it!!!
Got my first low-ball call today. $75 for e-docs! When I told him that I got $150 for my last job, he said, "that's what Title Co.s pay, not signing services" and then he upped it to a whopping $85. I told "that's why I work for Title Co.s, I'm worth it"!
I feel like I've finally made it to the big leagues! LOL

Well I want to know WHICH title companies pay that. My own feels like they're giving me a gift at $150. Normal is $100-$125 but the docs are hand delivered to me and no travel, so I suppose I shouldn't complain.

$100-$125 is what I get from SSs. TCs range from $130-$150.

I was offered $85 From Notary Biz for a local signing. I told them my fee is $100, and if they can't pay that, I couldn't work for them. the girl said we can,t pay that and I said I'm sorry I can't work for you. In about an hour I got a call for a 1st and second with e-mail Docs that paid me $155. With the cost of gas, toner, and paper, I can't work for Companies like that. They sit there make a few phone calls and get 50% or more of the fee they charge the Title Companies, while we have all the expenses. I'm sorry if I want to make minimum wages I can work at the local McDonalds, walk to work and have no expenses

Re: I'm with you there Marie
we have equipment costs and expenses. computer, printer, fax, toner, paper, cell phone, internet, car expenses, gasoline, tires, upkeep that come out of our own pocket and not our employers
