Internet Faxing question, opinions requested....
My last signing had 55 pages of faxes.... As my fax is inkjet, it took about 45 mins to print one set.
I am aware that some SA's use a internet service to send and receive faxes.
What service(s) are you using?
What is the GBU? (Good, Bad and Ugly)
TIA

I use K7 (www.k7.net)
You can receive docs and voice messages. When I get documents they are in TIF format. Voice messages are .wav files. Good quality with both.
The good ... it's free.
The bad ... can't think of any. It has worked well so far.
P.S. I know people get tired of hearing this, but I found out about K7 by using the orange "Search" tab.

I use http://myfax.com/.
It't not free ($10. per month). But included is a toll free number and a large number of pages without any additional charge. I forgot how many, but I have never paid more than the basic fee. You can choose the format you want. I personally use .pdf. I have a cheap fax machine to send faxes and if I need to make a lot of copies instead of using my flat bed scanner, I fax the documents to my fax number and print them from my laser printer. Comes out pretty good.

I use Maxemail. Cost $17.95 per 3 months. Sending is an additional charge....usually around 5 cents per page or less. You can specify to receive in TIF or PDF format. I use PDF to send also because it creates a smaller file. I love it because you can print as many pages as you like and if you are sending a large amount of pages. You can store them until you are sure they have been received without rescanning or refaxing.

I use Maxemail for receiving faxes. And for sending faxes I use my HP-3015 to scan to my pc and I then send by email a pdf file of my invoices. It has worked pretty good this past month I saved like 10 dollars of long distance, I can use those ten dollars to buy a refill for the hp-3015

I use E-Fax Plus $12.95 a month, for receiving or sending faxes. They do have a free basic E-Fax incoming only, but you cannot receive more then 20 faxes per month.

I use Myfax.com. $10 a month. I have a Brother MFC 8220 which has an auto feed scan feature which eliminates the need for a flatbed scanner. I convert the files to TIF then email it on to myfax. Any incoming faxes are sent to my email in PDF form. I forget how many pages are included in that price because I have never gone over the limit/ When sending legal size doc's, There is a different email address to send to. I have no complaints at all!

Re: Thanks!
I used to be an Opex VoIP customer, but the quality was horrible. Faxes wouldn't go through all the time, receiving or transmitting.
Now I'm a Vonage customer and I'm satisfied with their service, as I've faxed loan docs and personal docs with no problems.
