Just got a call from Servicelink...

I think their normal fee now is $65, and I won't do that unless it is overnight docs and my next door neighbor signing. This week alone, on 2 different closings, they've called and asked if I go to "so-and-so county". I tell them I do, and tell them my fee, knowing they will turn me down, and they do. Then, 3 hours later, I get a call from someone else at ServiceLink asking if I go there, I say "I do, someone called earlier, I told them my fee and they said No". Suddenly my fee is approved and I'm going. I also make it clear that when the overnighted docs turn into edocs I get $25.00 more.

Just think of all the money these companies would save paying us $25 to $75 more to do a closing. They seem to be paying their schedulers a lot of money to spend hours trying to find signing agents to do the cheap closings.

I'm curious to know if NREIS has offered to pay more than $65.00 & $90.00 (edocs). It doesn't matter if you're traveling 5 or 50 miles, the price is the same. I guess someone is accepting the fee because I'm not getting call backs.

Heads Up DebOK, NREIS called me twice yesterday for signings in Walters, Ok and Ryan, Ok
Unfortunately I was unable to accept them because I was already booked for those time slots. Walters is 116 miles 1-way and Ryan is 120 miles 1-way. They do pay a fair fee for these type signings.
