A few months ago, I landed a gig where I sat in an escrow office for a couple of weeks while they were selling out a 2,000 unit housing tract. I went and looked back at my journal and I did 17 one day. I remember that by the end of the day, it was tough to see anymore and my wife said I was talking in my sleep, "Sign and date here." I began at 7am and I think I left the office at about 11 pm that night. And I am suppose to be retired.

In the real world, the most I have done was 6 and that was a long day due to the distances I drove. But actually, I have not had a day where I have had more than two since early February. And lately, most of them are one.

17 Closings back in the day.

Now my brother came over to my place Wed. to "doc out". He had some that were overnighted and some that were edocs and he had 10 on tuesday. The kids were cracking up at the stack of FEd ex envelopes. There were 12 envelopes as two were split packages.

Those 17 I almost feel dishonest calling them a closing as there was a loan officer there that had already delt with the buyers and they were purchase loans. Hearded them through like cattle. But they were still loan docs and I can still count them as experience. I did a bunch during those two weeks. There is still so much building going on up here, it makes your head spin ...

This was a one time deal that I fell into because I did a construction loan for the brother of the contractor and they were short a notary had my card and called me. I got 50 bucks per. This is the only time where 50 bucks pays.
