Milage fees

When accepting a signing, for the sake of argument, for $75. Do you then advise the company of your milage fees and how much more that would add to the signing cost? Also what is the current industry standard for milage fees, last I had heard it was $0.35/mile.

According to county and city I automatically figure it in to my base fee. They either accept it or they don't. You have to account for mileage. Gas here is up to 2.749 as of yesterday. The current rate is .445 per mile not .35. Check IRS.gov site and search mileage rates.

Yes....if you want to lose business. I'm sure there is another notary in your area, spit out by the NNA overnight, that would be more than happy to take your business.
