Not being paid? Check this out
Here is a cool Demand for payment doc I found. Just fill in the blanks, print and send. I can't promise it will work but it's better then phone calls and e-mails not returned. Good luck.

I prefer the letter from "droman_IL 4/1/06 msg #110293" It seems to get right to the point. "Pay me what you owe or I'll let the world know" Why should the nonpaying company that is trying to cheat us out of our money be told that we are sending them a letter and then going to give them an additional 30 days before we start any collection proceedures? I may sound like a "hard nose" but I'm owed quite a few hundred dollars and I'm sure it is just a drop in the bucket to these guys that don't pay but to me it's money I worked for and expected it when I took the assignments. So why play patty cake with them? In another 30 days they could have "cheated" another 30, 60 or more notaries out of hundreds, even thousands of dollars.

JAX I also agree with Tess message # 110293 is indeed pretty done good, it worked for me, got a check within days, however the ss stated they were removing me from their data base. The owner stated they had never received a threatening letter like it from any other notaries even tho others from this board had posted negative comments on them, their were actually more positive on the company. I had sent several e-mails to them, this one finally worked. So you win and you may lose with a letter like this.....

If it gets to the point where I have to send a letter for payment, it's a given that I would never work for that company again, so there's no loss in my book.

Re: Not being paid? Check this out-I only suggest lose
because if one were to listen to the side of the ss on this particular signing, the signing was canceled at the table as the signing was taking place, the LO was at that moment verifying Mrs. Borrower's employment of which she had quit 7-10 days prior. The signing was to take place the Friday before the Monday in which we were now at the table, the borrower posed the question so if we had signed as planned on Friday, this loan would have gone through? The ss states they don't get paid on one like this so why should I? I had begun my notarizing when the loan was then canceled. SS responded to first invoice with yadda yadda yadda, to second invoice with let me talk with the bookkeeper tomorrow and get back to you (and never did), third invoice- I heard we mailed that check to you but apparently you didn't get it, we just checked and the check has not cleared so we will issue another. I live in a very small community where even if the PO Box is not on the letter in question, it gets to me anyway. Only two folks on the mountain with the name, me and my hubby. However perhaps this did occur, when check does finally get here it is hand written by owner, both check and envelope so where is the process to go through bookkeeper. I only took offense to the owner suggesting I was being removed from their data base solely due to my last and final notice that did get me the check. This was the first time to work with this signing service and they did have many excellent reviews so yes this could indeed be viewed as a loss if the ss was on the up and up with all they said and according to many reviews. I may have, in the future given them a second chance however since I did burn my bridges I will never have that option, so there may be many win and lose situations that do cross that thin line of win or lose in my books.
