OT: Be part of history this Wednesday...

At two minutes and three seconds past 1am this Wednesday, the time and date will read:

01:02:03 04/05/06

Lift a glass at the appointed time in your time zone to this amazing event that will never recur! Smile

Do you know something the rest of us don't about the years 3006, 4006, 5006, 6006, ad infinitum?

Since April is the beggining of spring and the weather has began to become nice and not to hot many organizations choose to do fundraising and or awareness events. Unfortunately it seem as though the public gets bogged by pleas. Notice my above thread is just asking for you to take a couple of minutes to read about the disability. So I'll be happy to lift a glass for your event if you would be so kind as to take a moment to read about mine Smile.

Roger, you need to get out more often. Why......

not spend the nice spring days enjoying your cubs ( at least until
late may when they should probably be mathematically eliminated
from any chance at the playoffs.
Hope that all is well with you and yours.
Hugh, I think that Roger meant that it would not repeat in our lifetime.
With any luck we should be out of Iraq by 3006. (sorry about that, the Devil made
me do it)
My comment stands, however, about Rog seeming to have way
too much time on his hands.

Now Bob...

Noting that the white sox finished dead last in the Spring standings, that is likely a harbinger of their inability to defend the pinnacle that it took them 46 years to return to. Since the beloved CUBS haven't been there since 19 freaking 18, we're DUE! See you up at the Northwestern-OSU game.

Niether the Sox or the Cubs will have a chance against the Angels this season...... I hope. One good note on the Angels is Salmon is back!!!!

SarahBeth

You should catch a game before you have to become a Rangers fan.

Hehe TG I was talking to my hubby about that very thing yesterday. I think we'll try and get one of those Sunday 4-packs. There an awesome deal. Just need to get a 5th ticket for the little one or have hubby's mom babysit.

Re: SarahBeth

Oh and my son and I had the discussion that the Angels can still be our number 1 team. And if we go see the Rangers it will be when the Angels are there and we can where our Angels gear. BTW my son got his first Rangers hat the week after we found out about the transfer. He already has a Dont Mess With Texas hat.

Re: SarahBeth

LOL, he's looking forward to this Texas move, good for him!

I was talking with my son over the weekend about catching an Angels game as he has a job offer in Delaware of all places and may leave in 30 days. He said it's harder to get tickets now??

We used to just drive to the Big A and buy them at the door...

How about 04/05/06 07:08:09? Guess we'll have to "lift a glass" twice on the same day. (Kind of early, doncha think? Smile)
