Re: Southern California notary Luncheon-Sounds good

however I drive 150 miles a day M-F, come Friday I park that puppy in the driveway and seldom start her up again until Monday 4:30 a.m., I would enjoy putting faces to names.....

150 miles per day? Do you listen to books on tape? I would absolutely have to do that.

Re: Southern California notary Luncheon-Sounds good-Nope

no books on tape, however one of the psychs we discussed yesteray suggested this- listening to books on tape and hasn't helped her life. I ease the pain with Gretchen Wilson Rednecked Woman love her trash talk, Toby Keith, or my Bonkadonk Man Trace Adkins as well as other various CMT car buds.....I call it unwinding....

Re: Southern California notary Luncheon-Sounds good-Nope

Believe it or not, I don't care for many country western tunes. Psychs don't usually seem to a have better prognosis than their patients do!

I enjoy a good thriller on the road...but I'd be thrilled out at 3 hrs per day over the same road. My longest jaunt on the road for a signing is usually an hour to an hour and a half and that's intermittent.

I enjoy classical, old rock and roll, new rock and roll, pop, alternative, and yes, (hanging head) even rap. The beat on rap is really good and if you cannot understand the words coming through the radio, you never really know what evil lurks behind them. I just don't buy much music retail. But I do download and pay.

I really love books on tape, though.

Re: Southern California notary Luncheon-Sounds good-Nope OT

In all honesty I have never tried books on tape, I do a lot of thinking on the road and I leave so early in the a.m. there is little traffic when I head out of the mountain, I land in 1 hour and 15 minutes to the playing field. I do buy CD's, I'm a huge talk radio fan we have Ken and John in the afternoon, KFI talk radio Bill Handel (lawyer) in the a.m., If I want to torture myself I listen to Dr. Laura, who needs shrink all her own.... I dig our Lady of Soul- Arthea Franklin, I enjoy Frank Sinatra, Rod Stewart and his lastest move to classics, I try to enjoy a wide range of music. But you can't bea the Frogmen in the a.m but that's just me.....

I marked the date on my calendar but I am not sure yet if I will go depending on my kids schedule. Do you want to carpool if I can go?
