Totally OT: Just have to say this because

I am home alone tonight watching American Idol and man does Elliott rock! This guy had me in tears and I felt like he was singing to me....one can only dream...LOL..sorry I couldnt contain myself!

I didn't see it Sherry, but you reminded me of a recent experience I had for my birthday...about 12 of us went out for lunch at a Romano's Macaroni Grill and the waitress was about 21 if she was a day...and after my co-workers warbled out a questionable "Happy Birthday" song (if you're measuring singing talent) she stepped up and stopped the entire restaurant with Happy Birthday in Italian...opera style.

I nearly cried it was so beautiful!! She did an encore with her favorite, a French Opera selection. My word, when God handed out talent...she just gave me chills with hers.

I liked Katherine and Chris. Kelly is falling apart voice wise. Maybe you can let us on the west coast know who gets kicked off sooner.

You can always check the American Idol message board on Televisionwithoutpity.com to find out who got the boot. The results shows are usually pretty boring to watch so I always just find out early so I don't have to bother to watch.

And the recaps on that site are pretty good too, perfect reading material while you're downloading docs.

See...now I didn't get that from him at all...

I thought his performance was just so/so! I cannot still believe that Paula was crying! I must have missed something, but then again, Elliot is not my favorite.

Chris, on the other hand, is. I just think he is perfect and when he goes, I stop watching!
