WARNING AGAINST A1 NATIONAL NOTARY
On April 14, I did a signing for A1 National Notary with EDocs, and the signing was 50+ miles roundtrip from my home. I had to go to two different locations to have the borrowers sign the documents. This was arranged last minute. Due to the fact that the signing was completed after the last FedEx pickup time in my area, the docs were not picked up until the next pickup day. A1 National Notary is now telling me that they will not pay me for this signing because it is not usable due to the drop date. The closing company has received the docs (I tracked them). I will be seeking legal representation to get payment from them.
Just a friendly warning to all you other notaries, A1 National Notary will screw ya!!

Check to see if the mortgage was recorded on the strength of your work. If so, they have accepted your work, and you are entitled to payment.

This Notary is one of the worst notaries available she has no idea what she is doing. A signing was given to her on Friday April 14 she did the closing and was notified the next day to ship the package back fedex overnight and update A1 National with the tracking number, she replyed yes i am going to fedex right now. Monday came no docs tues, wed no docs she was contacted again in reference to the docs and asked for the tracking number her reply i am on my way to fedex now, what type of notary does business like this? Not to mention someone's loan is being held up for funding because the documents that was intrusted to this notary is possibly sitting on her coffee table this is not very professional in my eyes. To end this story these set of docs never reached the title company. A new notary had to go out and get the borrowers to resign and there loan was held up for a total of an extra 7 days.
NO SHE SHOULD NOT GET PAID!!!
There will be several post from many Notaries that do business with A1 National Notary from many states in the very near future...

Re: A1 NATIONAL NOTARY - NEVER LATE IN PAYING NOTARY FEES
I have been working with A-1 National Notary since early April of 2006 and have never had an issue with not getting paid, or even getting paid late. They are one of the quickest paying companies that I do business with.
